Making a Booking
You can make a booking either by
emailing me with the details - my email address is
rentals@New-Zealand-rental-cars.com - or
filling out one of the following booking forms. Note: It
is not a positive booking until I have confirmed the
arrangements back to you.
Please read these booking conditions
first:
Long term
buybacks
If your preference is for a
buyback send me an email at
rentals@New-Zealand-rental-cars.com telling me the sort of vehicle you are
interested in and the general price range. I can then get back to
you and discuss specific vehicles. If you like the sound of one of them
I will send photos and you can decide whether it's the one for you.
You then fill out the booking form and select "Buyback" as your choice.
That will take you to a secure server where you can enter your credit
card details. I will require 25% of the purchase price as a
deposit payable not later than 28 days before arrival (or on booking if
that is after that date).
If on arriving and seeing the vehicle you reject it on
reasonable grounds the deposit is refundable. "Reasonable grounds" means
that it is not suited to your purpose as discussed or it does not match
the description given.
Short term buyback cars and station wagons:
To confirm
the booking I require your credit card number. I will deduct a
10% deposit on confirming the booking. There is no cancellation charge if you notify
me at
least 14 days before the expected arrival date that you
are cancelling, in which case your deposit will be refunded on to your
credit card. If less than 14 days notice
of the cancellation is given the deposit will be taken as a
cancellation fee. You are advised to check your travel insurance
policy to ensure that cancellations fees are covered in
the event of you being unable to travel.
Short term buyback Sleepervans / Minicoaches / FamilyCamperVans
To confirm
the booking I require your credit card number. A deposit
of 10% is payable on confirmation of the booking and will be debited to
your credit card. The balance of the amount of the initial
purchase deposit as confirmed to you must be paid no later than 21 days
prior to the start of the hire. That amount may be lodged
to your credit card on or after that date.
Prior to that
date there is no cancellation fee, but if you cancel between 14 and 21 days from the date of the booking
I
charge the equivalent of 50% of the first month's usage fee. Cancellations after that date are
non-refundable. You are advised to check your travel insurance
policy to ensure that cancellations fees are covered in
the event of you being unable to travel.

You will then be transferred to a secure server - it is
operated by a certified independent service provider -
where you can type in your credit card details. None of those details
are transferred on to our computer or held in anyway in our office
If you do not have a credit card please just email the
details to
rentals@New-Zealand-rental-cars.com. But please be aware that until
I have
some form of deposit or credit card details the booking
is not positively confirmed. If you do not have a credit
card please advise me of that fact and I will tell you
how to meet the deposit requirement.
Note: All booking
requests are subject to confirmation from me. You will
receive that confirmation by email.
