Hire an Eftpos machine for your gala day, trade show, market days . . . or anywhere else where it makes sense to close the sale and get paid on the spot.
We can offer you either a fully electronic rental mobile Eftpos machines are easy to use and fast . . . only seconds per transaction.
Or a fixed landline eftpos machine
Both are good for Eftpos or credit cards and fully up to the new specifications.

Prices include unlimited transactions, courier delivery on mobile machines (courier extra for landline machines) to and from your place, GST.
Machines will be delivered the day before the hire is to start. They must be returned the day after the hire concludes. Return time is defined by the time our courier collects the machines. We supply you with a returned courier label to make returning easy-as.
The unit comes complete with one thermal paper roll and an instruction manual.
You can either use your merchant number or, if you don't have one, use ours. Where a credit card is used to pay for the transaction a commission of 5% of the amount is payable to cover the charges made by the credit card companies.
Hire terms and conditions:
1 Downtown Rentals will provide support on 0800 80 86 87 or 09 625-6469.
2. It will be the hirer’s responsibility to ensure the unit is kept secure and free from damage.
3. Downtown Rentals accepts no responsibility for lack of cellular coverage or EFTPOS network congestion. No refund will be given in these instances.
4. Downtown Rentals will not be liable for any lost sales or EFTPOS transactions.
5. 1 day's hire fee applies for orders cancelled once booked.
6. Prepayment is required for casual rentals
7. Downtown Rentals requires a credit card number and expiry date as security against the goods supplied and / or payment of any amounts due under this contract.
8. Interest on overdue amounts accrues at 2% per month. The hirer will meet collection costs
9. Hire periods allow 1 day each way at no charge for courier time.
The hirer will be charged $45 for each day or part thereof that the terminal is late.10. The hirer is responsible for any cleaning charges.
11. Downtown Rentals is not responsible for any liability, claims, costs or expenses arising from damages or losses from the use or possession of its equipment. The Hirer shall use the equipment in a careful and proper manner. The Hirer shall not in any way alter or modify the equipment. The equipment is rented without warranty or guarantee of any kind, expressed or implied.
12. The Hirer shall, at his own expense, insure for the replacement value all rented equipment and supplies. Insurance must cover loss occasioned by delays in transportation, theft, damage, storage or delivery. Insurance is available on the machines at $5 per machine per day.
13. All rentals are subject to equipment availability and bookings are not confirmed until you receive written advice confirming the booking.
